DDoS attack against litecoinpool.org

Since about 5:45 UTC today the pool's website and mining servers have been under DDoS attack. We are currently working to mitigate this.

If you do not know what DDoS (distributed denial of service) means, it is a type of attack that affects the availability of a certain Internet service (the pool in this case) so that users cannot access it. However, no data can be compromised by this kind of attack.

As usual, all you need to make sure of is that your miners' shares are being accepted. All accepted shares will be counted, just as normal.

Update: The attack has subsided.
