Six Years of LitecoinPool.org

Today we are celebrating LitecoinPool.org's sixth birthday! As some of you may remember, the pool was officially launched on November 5, 2011, just three weeks after the Litecoin network went live on October 13, 2011 (by the way: Happy Birthday, Litecoin!).
For decades we've been told that we live in fast-paced times, but this has never been as true as it is today, and especially when it comes to mining. Just think that during this past year our miners computed over 20 × 1018 hashes. That is 20 quintillion, or 20 billion billion, hashes, and it's more than twice what we mined in our first 5 years of operation. To put things into perspective, it would take a modern gaming PC about one million years to compute all these hashes alone!
So thanks everyone! Here's to the next year and the future of Litecoin!
